physiological function
enzyme catalyzes the last step in the biosynthesis of methanofuran core structure , i.e. the condensation of 5-(aminomethyl)-3-furanmethanol-diphosphate with gamma-glutamyltyramine, respectively, to form 4-[N-(gamma-L-glutamyl)-p-(beta-aminoethyl)phenoxymethyl]-(aminomethyl)furan. Condensation of the tyramine moiety with 5-(aminomethyl)-3-furanmethanol-diphosphate occurs after formation of gamma-glutamyltyramine
