Comment

Binds iron. The enzyme from the bacterium Streptoalloteichus tenebrarius catalyses the activation of carbamoyl phosphate to O-carbamoyladenylate (see EC 2.1.3.13, ATP carbamoyltransferase), and the subsequent carbamoylation of kanamycin and tobramycin.
