In the absence of ATP, only oligopeptides shorter than five residues are hydrolysed (such as succinyl-Leu-Tyr-/-NHMec, and Leu-Tyr-Leu-/-Tyr-Trp, in which cleavage of the -Tyr-/-Leu- and -Tyr-/-Trp bonds also occurs)
