Cloned(Commentary)

Cloned (Comment) Organism
expression of chimaeric KIF1A construct in Escherichia coli Mus musculus

Crystallization (Commentary)

Crystallization (Comment) Organism
KIF1A-ADP crystals are grown by vapour diffusion, 0.002 ml protein solution containing approx. 15 mg/ml protein are mixed with 0.002 ml reservoir buffer consisting of 30% polyethylene glycol 4000, 100 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.5, 200 mM sodium acetate, 8% sucrose, 4 mM ADP and 10 mM MgCl2, crystals of KIF1A-beta,gamma-methyleneadenosine 5-triphosphate are obtained using 27% polyethylene glycol 4000, 100 mM MES-NaOH, pH 6.5 and 200 mM sodium acetate as reservoir buffer, crystals are soaked in buffer containing 20 mM beta,gamma-methyleneadenosine 5-triphosphate and 40 mM MgCl2 before data collection, crystals of KIF1A and KIF1A-beta,gamma-methyleneadenosine 5-triphosphate diffract to 2.2 and 2.0 A, respectively Mus musculus
