physiological function Danio rerio larvae show increased V-ATPase-mediated acid secretion and transient expression of Pck1, in response to acid stress. Pck1 gene knockdown decreases the H+ secretion via V-ATPase, the effect is rescued by supplementation of glucose into the yolk. Pck1 knockdown does not affect glutamine/glutamate catalysis Danio rerio
