Mean plasma plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 levels are significantly higher in both ulcerative colitis patients and Crohn’s disease patients compared with healthy controls. Mean plasma TAFI levels are significantly lower in both ulcerative colitis patients and Crohn’s disease patients compared with healthy controls.
