General Stability

General Stability Organism
activity decreases when binding to bead-linked anti-ATX-antibody, remaining enzyme activity is measured (radiolabled substrate). Afterwards the precipitated beads are incubated with 100 mM glycine buffer, 48°C, 1 h for recovering the enzyme activity. Subsequently the remaining enzyme activity is measured (radiolabeled substrate). Results: endogenous substrate 20% activity can be recovered (75% lost before) for serum from a woman with normal pregnancy, 6% activity can be recovered (76% lost before) for serum from a patient with severe pre-eclampsia, 13% activity can be recovered (70% lost due to antibody binding) for serum from a patient with preterm labor. Results exogenous substrate 80% activity can be recovered (75% lost before) for serum from a woman with normal pregnancy, 6% activity can be recovered (70% lost before) for serum from a patient with severe pre-eclampsia, 13% activity can be recovered (90% lost due to antibody binding) for serum from a patient with preterm labor Homo sapiens
