General Information

General Information Comment Organism
physiological function sphingomyelin synthase (SMS) is a key enzyme in the synthesis of sphingomyelin. Effect of SMS on the inflammatory pathway involving nuclear factor (NF)kappaB induced by lipopolysaccharide is analyzed in an ALI mouse model, overview. Compared with the control group, the mRNA and protein levels of CD14 are significantly increased, and the activity of SMS and expression of SMS2 are significantly upregulated in the model group. The expression of SMS2 may affect the induction of the NFkappaB pathway by LPS through CD14 Mus musculus
