the enzyme retains 76.02% and 41.17% activity in the presence of 2 M urea after 1 and 24 h, respectively. The enzyme regains activity up to 54.91% after denaturation in 8 M urea. The enzyme is active even after 24 h of guanidine hydrochloride treatment and contains 74.67% and 13.33% activity in 2 M after 1 and 24 h, respectively. Once denatured with 6 M guanidine hydrochloride, the protein regains 45.73% once guanidine hydrochloride is dialyzed Leishmania infantum
