After incubation for 2 h in 100 mM sodium chloride in water at 4°C, the dialysis-inactivated uricase shows about 70% of the maximal specific activity. After incubation for 2 h in 100 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0 plus 100 mM NaCl at 4°C, the dialysis-inactivated uricase shows about 90% of the maximal specific activity.
