IUBMB Comments
Requires Mg2+. Isolated from the bacterium Streptomyces sp. SANK 60404. This trifunctional enzyme, which contains a [4Fe-4S] cluster, also produces (R)-nephthenol and (R)-cembrene A. See EC 4.2.3.150, cembrene A synthase and EC 4.2.3.149, nephthenol synthase.
