IUBMB Comments
The enzyme from the prune mite Carpoglyphus lactis also acts on geraniol with greater activity [cf. EC 1.1.1.347, geraniol dehydrogenase (NAD+)]. Unlike EC 1.1.1.216, farnesol dehydrogenase (NADP+), this enzyme cannot use NADP+ as cofactor.
