Some genes required for carbohydrate metabolism, such as hexose transporter, L-idonate dehydrogenase, and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase, are significantly upregulated in the CL berries in relation to the GT berries, which positively correlated with the sugar and organic acid accumulations
